So be happy cos Google now has updated the developer builds of Google Chrome for Windows and Mac to version 5.0. “Unlike the more recent versions of developer’s build 4.x, the developer’s builds of Chrome 5.x seems to be starting off to a rough start” said Seth Rosenblatt from CNET Download blog. New Features Improvement in Chrome 5

The main changes in this version includes, the ability to use default downloads directory on Vista and Windows 7 and improved plugin stability for the Mac version.Another interesting change or feature is adding of “content settings” under options tab (Options -> Under the Hood–> content settings). The new version number comes with a number of bug fixes and some new features, as well.

Yet, Chrome 5 has a new address bar separator you can see exactly in Chrome browser interface. That separator bar is useful to hide or disable extension buttons in the toolbar and the Page menu icon has been replaced by the Tools menu icon.
